Leadership
Described by Forbes Africa as one of the pioneers who led Nigeria into the digital-first strategy era of Marketing Communications, Ayeni is a fellow of the National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria (NIMN), a member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations UK (CIPR), member of the Public Relations Association of America (PRSA), member of Nigeria Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) and member of the Public Relations and Communications Association (PRCA), the world’s largest PR professional body. He is also a committee member of the Scotland Chapter of CIPR, a council member of the PRCA, and a fellow of the National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria (NIMN).
He founded the international public relations company BHM in 2006. He has led the company to become one of the most successful communications companies out of Africa, with revenue of over £5 million and combined staff strength of almost 100.
Ayeni has led BHM to emerge finalist for the Africa Consultancy of the Year award for the second year running at the annual SABRE Awards EMEA. In 2023, BHM was listed as number 87 on the 100 fastest growing companies in Africa, by The Financial Times.
Under his leadership, BHM has also received several global awards and recognitions, including PRISM 2021 Silver Award for Community Relations category, PRISM 2021 Special Mention Award for the Nigeria PR Report., Sabre EMEA Awards final nomination for African Consultancy of the year, 2021 and 2022, Provoke Media 2022 Global PR Ranking “Fast Movers 2022”; Sabre Africa 2022 Awards for public affairs/government relations, and Sabre Africa 2022 Award for superior achievement in measurement & evaluation; Sabre EMEA Awards: 2022 Finalist in Corporate Social Responsibility, Advocacy (crisis management) and Capital market communications
He is also the founder of ID Africa, and marketing tech startup Plaqad.
Dotun is an Entrepreneur, Business Leader, and Management Scholar with over 15 years of experience in Human Resource Management, Operations Management, and Education. Her career spans various industries in both the private and public sectors across multiple countries.
As Co-founder & People Consultant at BHM Holdings, Dotun advises on Business Internationalisation, Leadership Strategy, Global Talent Management, People Analytics, Research Development, and Digital Transformation.
Dotun earned her PhD in Management (Summa Cum Laude) from the University of Edinburgh, where her thesis focused on the contextual issues shaping the negotiation and management of personalised non-standard work arrangements between high-value employees and their employers.
Additionally, Dotun holds a Master’s in International Human Resource Management (With Distinction) from the University of Edinburgh, a Master’s in Managerial Psychology from the University of Lagos, and a Bachelor’s in European Studies from the University of Ibadan.
Within the higher education sector, Dotun has taught various management topics, including Global Talent Management, HRM Practice Transfer, International Assignments, Employer Branding, Organisational Culture Transformation, Global Talent Acquisition, and Equality, Diversity & inclusion. Her research and insights have been published in respected outlets such as the CIPD UK, The Academy of Management, The Guardian, Business Day, and Group & Organization Management.
Dotun is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy in the United Kingdom, a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) UK, and a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM) Nigeria. She is also a member of the Academy of Management in the United States, the European Association of Work and Organisational Psychology, and the British Academy of Management.
Moliehi is a seasoned professional with over two decades of experience in the public relations and reputation management sector. Moliehi is the Managing Director of Magna Carta Reputation Management Consultants, a PR consultancy firm located in South-Africa.
With a proven track record of advising some of Africa’s blue-chip clients, Molehi provides strategic counsel to boards and c-suite executives on critical reputational issues. She is known for her expertise in crisis management, having successfully navigated some of South-Africa’s high-profile national crises under her leadership.
As a visionary leader in her field, Moliehi is committed to driving the highest standards of professionalism and ethics in public relations and reputation management. Her extensive experience and strategic insights makes her an invaluable asset to any organisation seeking to enhance its reputation and build stakeholder trust.
Molehi sits on numerous boards, including Northam Booysendal Community Trust, as an independent trustee. Outside South Africa, Molehi is the non-executive director of BHM UK and part of the PRCA Global Advisory Board.
Stephen is a business advisor who helps organisations with planning, strategic decision making and execution. He is the Founder and Managing Partner of Wadds Inc., a professional advisory firm, working with agencies and communication teams.
Stephen was previously managing director at Metia Group (2019 and 2020), an international digital marketing agency. It creates high performance campaigns using research, content, demand and earned media. His clients included Amazon, BMW, Capita, Salesforce and Microsoft.
He was Chief Engagement Officer at Ketchum (2012 to 2018), an Omnicom-owned agency, responsible for driving the integration of digital and social capabilities in client engagements across the agency’s international network. He was lead senior counsel on integrated global accounts including IBM, IKEA and Phillips.
Stephen has held the role of Visiting Professor in Practice at Newcastle University since 2015, supporting the university and students through teaching and mentoring. He is also an external examiner for the CIPR, the UK professional body for PR practitioners.
Stephen is a Chartered PR Practitioner, a CIPR Fellow (Hon), a Fellow of the PRCA, a Certified Member of the IoIC and member of the IPRA. He sits on the board of BHM UK.
Femi Falodun is a seasoned PR and Communications expert with almost a decade of experience in PR consultancy and corporate communications.
Prior to joining BHM in 2014 as a PR Officer and Digital Lead, Femi worked for six years in the banking industry, with roles in sales, marketing and operations. In 2015, Femi was appointed COO, and later in 2019, named the CEO of ID Africa, BHM’s Pan African communications advisory firm.
Femi has consulted on diverse marketing, public relations and strategic communications programmes and campaigns for leading multinational brands and corporations in the fast moving consumer goods industry, telecomms, financial services, media, entertainment, technology, and the public sector.
Femi holds a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry from the University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, an MBA from the University of Lagos, and a Master of Research degree from Lancaster University, UK. He is also a Chartered Marketer with The Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) UK.
Femi is a doctoral candidate at Kent Business School studying Corporate Sustainability Communication in emerging markets.
Enitan Kehinde is the General Manager and Lead Consultant at BHM UK. She leads the UK operations of Africa’s first global integrated communications company, BlackHouse Media (BHM).
Enitan is also the Lead Coordinator of the global celebration - World Public Relations Day (WPRD), kick-started in 2020, and Convener of WIMConnect, a close knit support group for young women in Marketing Communications launched during the pandemic lockdowns in 2020.
Enitan, who is a member of the CIPR and PRCA, is a skilled marketing communications professional with over six years experience, working in the PR industry. She holds a masters degree in public relations from Sheffield Hallam University and an undergraduate degree in Mass Communication from the Redeemer’s University.
Enitan co-authored the BHM Guide to Public Relations in 2016, worked on The Concept of Virality in 2020 and worked as lead coordinator of the Nigeria PR Report for four years.
Enitan joined BHM in January of 2016 as an intern and worked her way up to become a Lead Consultant. She worked as Lead Consultant on the FMCG portfolio at BHM for over three years, driving the Coca-Cola and Heineken accounts and leading a team of 10 consultants across corporate communications, and brand PR.
Iretomiwa Akintunde-Johnson is a Public Relations and Communications specialist and is currently a Lead Public Relations and Communications Adviser and Regional Manager for the West Africa region at ID Africa (a BHM Holdings company).
In addition to her Public Relations career, Iretomiwa is also an author and a lawyer. She earned her Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from the University of Lagos and a BL from the Nigerian Law School in 2015. Her career with BHM began in 2018, as an Associate Consultant before she was promoted to the position of Public Relations Consultant in 2019.
In 2020 Iretomiwa became a Lead Public Relations and Communications Adviser at ID Africa, where she spearheads the development, communication and implementation of effective growth strategies and processes in the business including new communications and PR models, and in areas like product thinking and advocacy.
In 2023 she led the development and launch of Africa’s first PR & Communications Report, APCR. She currently leads the company’s expansion across West Africa.
Iretomiwa is a published author with an essay on how trust and truth will play an integral role in government and business; and why Communication will be key to making that happen.
Njideka Akabogu is a Communications Expert with over 8 years experience working in Media and Communications in different capacities as content strategist, content creator, fashion editor and PR consultant.
She currently serves as the Regional Manager, East Africa and Lead PR & Communications Adviser at ID Africa (a BHM Holdings Company) where she’s charged with developing and implementing growth strategies and processes for the business, as well as providing day-to-day leadership on clients’ accounts.
Njideka has driven communications and storytelling for international and pan-African brands over the course of her career notably MultiChoice, Showmax, ViacomCBS and Betway.
She has also received a number of industry recognitions for her work including Brand Communicator’s 35 under 35 top Marketing professionals.
